Today I was pressed for time. It’s Sunday, we have a ton of things to do. I have to work. We have a party. And on top of that, I have all the normal weekend stuff, laundry, dishes, cleaning up. Urgh!
BUT, I didn’t want to forget my smoothie. I was hungry too, so it was either craft a smoothie or make a quick sandwich. So I chose a green smoothie packed with the good stuff. Go me!
This one is only a few ingredients and the result is thick, creamy, and not a single taste of the green part.
- 1 cup of chopped kale
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 banana
- 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon macha powder
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for until a consistency you like. Serve & enjoy!
